Reid Eddison worked with i/us from its inception in 1998, mentoring company founders on a variety of issues in the areas of strategy and business development. A Reid Eddison partner served on the board of directors.
The company was successfully acquired in 2000 by Getty Images and became a Reid Eddison graduate.

Reid Eddison worked with InSystems from 1997 to 2002, when the company was sold to Standard Register for US$89 million and became a Reid Eddison graduate. Reid Eddison began working with Meriton Networks when it was founded (as edgeflow) in 2000. The engagement centered on helping the company plan for a launch, and to build appropriate media awareness, tied to business objectives. Throughout 2000 and 2001, the engagement focused on helping the company develop product messages that were in synch with the fast shifting market realities for optical networking products. To that end, the media outreach was geared to cultivating relationships with industry analysts, in order to allow the company to test and refine its plans for products customers would buy.
These relationships along with early customer references were key in allowing the company to close its first round of financing (US$24 million) in mid 2001. The company built its internal communications capabilities and became a Reid Eddison graduate in 2001.

NCompass Labs was an expert in web content management and offered an enterprise-level web content management solution for the Microsoft platform. NCompass Resolution provided companies with a quick-to-deploy, enterprise-strength system for all web applications. Microsoft, Texaco, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Verizon Communications, Toyota, and CB Richard Ellis were among the more than 100 companies world-wide using NCompass Resolution to manage content.
Reid Eddison began working with NCompass Labs in 2000. The engagement centered on issues of strategy development. NCompass became a Reid Eddison graduate when it was successfully acquired by Microsoft in May 2001.
