With winter around the corner, we're seeing some signs of vitality in the tech sector,
especially among younger companies that are bootstrapping their start-up dreams with
targeted products and services able to generate revenue in the here and now. The
energy we are seeing reminds us that it is often in difficult economic times that
strong companies are born.
Since the summer, Reid Eddison has been assisting great companies like CMiC, FreeBalance
and NexInnovations.
Now, we're gearing up to work with more companies through the addition of new partners
and associates.
Paul Bodnoff, rejoins Reid Eddison after an engagement at AssetMetrix,
where, as acting CEO, he raised close to $3 million, signed key partnerships, and delivered product to market.
Rick White, our newest partner, brings
his proven knowledge of business strategy to our clients. He has been in the CEO role
more than once (most recently with Solidum Systems Corp prior to its sale to IDT), and
he knows how to translate opportunity into market reality.
Kevin Higgins brings Reid Eddison additional "street cred" as a
former CEO who has founded a number of companies that have made an impact on the
technology scene, including FreeBalance and CivicLife.com. Kevin matches his
"guerrilla marketing" bent with a CEO's business savvy to help clients with
business vision and strategy.
Ian Rawlins, a new Reid Eddison associate, is the co-founder of Triversity Inc., a successful global software
company serving the retail sector. Like many at Reid Eddison, he has a passion for helping
companies match nascent products to real market opportunities.
John Kelly
is as busy as ever, mainly focused these days on his duties as Chair of
NexInnovations,
but always ready to share his wisdom and experience with
Reid Eddison
clients.
In November,
Gillian Brouse
returned from maternity leave to round out our burgeoning marketing expertise.
